The Canada Green Building Council promotes buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live, work and play by accelerating the adoption of green building principles, policies, practices, standards and tools.
The Green Building Council of Canada also administers LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design), a rating system for designing, constructing, operating and certifying the world's greenest buildings.

Low Impact Development Stormwater Management Planning and Design Guide (LID Guide)
The guide was developed by TRCA and CVC as a tool to help developers, consultants, municipalities and landowners understand and implement sustainable stormwater practices in the TRCA and CVC watersheds. The LID Guide provides information and direction to assist engineers, ecologists, landscape architects and planners in landscape-based stormwater management planning and in the selection, design, construction and monitoring of sustainable stormwater management practices such as green roofs and permeable pavement.

The Ontario Geothermal Association is a not-for-profit corporation helping to advance Ontario's geothermal energy industry. They link consumers and government with geothermal energy system designers, drillers, installers, equipment manufacturers and distributors. They voice the province's interests for a greener, cleaner and self sustainable energy source, high standards, assurance and public protection.

Canadian GeoExchange Coalition
The Canadian GeoExchange Coalition provides information on technology through presentations, webcasts, trade shows, and the CGC website. They provide information to government and the industry by using member funds to partner on studies in areas such as geoexchange's environmental impact and municipal road-mapping. In addition, they work with ministries and agencies to deliver specific objectives in partnership with their utilities and/or stakeholders such as their involvement in the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation's Net Zero Energy / Healthy Housing initiative.
