| Brief
Description |
The Study will
produce a management plan for the lands within the
Natural Heritage System (NHS) and identify trail
locations through and within the NHS.
Study has three stages. Stage One is the background
research and preliminary assessment of the NHS and an
initial draft concept of a master trails plan.
Stage Two is preparation of preliminary management
strategies for the lands and the draft trail concept
plan.
Stage Three is the completion of the Management
Plan and the Master Trails Plan for the NHS, including
implementation and operational strategies. |

Draft Report released March 2008 for comment.
Public meeting held April 2, 2008. Release of
final Report pending revisions by consultant to address
comments received. Final Report anticipated in
Summer 2008. |

the Province of Ontario.
