Description |
The Central Pickering
Development Plan identifies a number of facilities or
road connections, or road crossings of creeks that will
require review through the Municipal Class Environmental

As specific EA’s are
commenced, they will be added to the study listing. |

Both the MESP and the
Regional EA are addressing the first two phases of the
Class EA process. In general, Phase 1 is the
identification of the problem or opportunity, and issues
to be addressed. Phase 2 is the identification of
alternative solutions to address the issues, and
establishment of the preferred solution.
Examples of matters
requiring further EA approvals for the development of
Seaton include, but are not limited to:
- The GO Station
location;
- The location and
design of the extension of Whites Road over West
Duffins Creek to connect to Sideline 26;
- The appropriate
location and structure for the Whitevale Road bypass
over the west Duffins Creek;
- Individual water
reservoirs; pumping stations.
