Community Involvement is a large part of the success of Communities in Bloom. Pickering will be judged in the provincial competition where we will be evaluated on:

Areas of Interest: Adopt-a-Park (only applicable to schools, businesses & community groups) Pitch-in-Parties (anytime) - Gather friends, family and neighbours to host a litter clean up party anytime from spring to fall. Supplies provided Community garden maintenance [Criteria for Acceptance] Property maintenance (gardens, hanging baskets, planter boxes, tidiness etc.) Purchase of a commemorative tree or bench with plaque (tree $500, bench $1,000) Gift in kind sponsorship (planting materials, etc.) Contact me when you need an extra hand (for those who are flexible and willing to help out with anything) Participate in the Garden Competition
