The architecture (navigation and style sheets) of the Sustainable Pickering website is in compliance with current W3C (World Wide Web Consortium, http://www.w3c.org/) standards and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). It should be noted that while web "standards” have not yet been determined under AODA, this website has been developed with an intended conformance to the level of "AA". The AODA will require all public sector web sites to meet accessibility compliance by Dec 31st 2011.
