The study will determine a preferred servicing layout for Central Pickering, including property ownership and easement requirements.

Status An Evaluation Committee consisting of Regional staff has pre-qualified engineering consultants to respond to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Class EA.  Terms of Reference and funding arrangements between developers' group and Region being finalized.  RFP anticipated to be released late Summer 2008.

Once a consultant has been retained by the Region, the EA is expected to take between 1 and 3 years to complete. The Region of Durham is the proponent for this Class EA.

The EA is being front-funded 100% by the Seaton developers' group - the North Pickering Community Management Inc.
